FabIndia Neem Tulsi Skin Toner Review - Skin Toner for Oily Skin & Pimple Control in India
FabIndia Neem Tulsi Skin Toner Review
As you know that last month I went for shopping in my local FabIndia store and I was looking for a nice skin toner, particularly Tea tree skin toner, about which I have heard good reviews. Unfortunately I couldn't find it in the Fabindia store so I grabbed this Neem Tulsi skin toner.

I read the ingredients list, though it was written that the toner is for oily skin, still after seeing the ingrediants like neem - tulsi, I thought that it will help me to overcome my acne problems better. And here is the review of the same.

What the product claims:
  • This twin-phase makeup remover has a unique formulation that gently but thoroughly removes all kind of makeup, including long-wearing makeup.

Product designing/ Packaging:
The Neem Tulsi skin toner comes in a transparent plastic bottle with a flip-cap. I won't say that it has a very travel friendly packaging because I think it is not very sturdy, especially the flip-cap. The look of the packaging is what struck my eyes. I really liked the way fabindia designed their products. The packaging is sober and has a herbal feel to it. It looks very elegant and soothing at the same time. Though the packaging is not so sturdy still loved its look and feel.

Color, Consistency and Fragrance of the product:
The toner is light mehendi green in color. The toner has a watery texture. It is not sticky, it is very light and gets easily absorbed in the skin. Fragrance is bit strong, it almost smell like regular neem soap in the market, did not like it's fragrance at all.

My experience with FabIndia Neem Tulsi Skin Toner:
Skin toner is very important for our daily skin care coz it does work on the ph balance of the skin. So I was looking for very good skin toner for my combination to dry skin type, though my skin is dry but because of the sudden change in weather as well as change in my location my skin got oily  and was getting some break outs on my skin. So I picked this oily skin toner. After using it for a while now I can say that it will help you to control and manage acne or pimples problems on your skin, It also hydrates the skin well. It has anti bacterial and anti septic properties are a boon for acne prone skin. so in that way this toner was helping me but I cant say that it has done wonders to my skin, its a very okay type product. What I absolutely dislike about this toner is that it stings when I apply it after cleansing my face, though it did not harm me still the feeling was irritating, and the soapy smell also annoys me.

What I liked about the FabIndia Neem Tulsi Skin Toner:
  • It has natural antibacterial and germ-fighting ingredients like neem and tulsi
  • Skin feels hydrated but not oily after use.
  • Helps you to control and manage acne or pimples problems
  • Good toner for oily skin
  • Soothing, refreshing packaging
  • Not that expensive
  • Easily available
What I don’t like about FabIndia Neem Tulsi Skin Toner:
  • I do not like the smell, it's too strong
  • It stings on my face
  • Not good for sensitive skin
  • Not a miraculous toner
  • Not travel friendly packaging
Will I repurchase:
No I don't think so, as it is an average toner. It doesn’t do anything worth mentioning. Though I will continue with this bottle until unless I found a better one.

Indianblush rating:
  • Quality: 2/5
  • Fragrance: 0.5/5
  • Packaging: 2.5/5
  • Pricing: 3/5
  • Performance: 3/5

  1. Hi! Another job well done on your review! Anyways, I was wondering if you could help me out - I'm looking for a good rose water toner ( one without any preservatives ). I'm currently using the L'Occitane rose hydrating spritzer, but I kinda need something a bit stronger. I bought the gulabjal premium rose water a couple years back when I visited India, but to my dismay discovered that they have certain ingredients and preservatives in them. It would be really helpful if you could maybe do a review on a good rose water brand, one that is "pure". Also, if you could be so kind as to specify where I can get the product, that would really help me out (preferably one that's easily attainable). I will be visiting India again in Nov this year, and am hoping to bring home a couple of bottles of "pure" rose water. I appreciate any information or feedback you can provide me with. Thanks a bunch, have a good one :)

    2. One of the best pure water rose Toners that I have used is from Fabindia. Used two bottles already. Have also used Forestessentals rose water toner. That is also a good product but out of the two the Fabindia one is better. I have a sensitive combination skin and it really works for me.
